There are only a couple of days before the big day! It’s safe to assume that if you’re going to be throwing or attending a big holiday party, dinner or any sort of festivity, it’ll be quite a busy time! But you’ve probably been planning for those events for weeks in advance. You probably have the food menu planned, the guests invited, the entertainment and all that… but what if you haven’t and what if you don’t have any of those things planned? Plans change all the time right? Or what if this get-together is a last minute thing? Well, don’t you worry; we’ve got your back!
Here are six things you can do to prepare for either attending or planning big Holiday bash!
Let’s face it… Other than an obligation, the number one reason why people attend Holiday parties is for the food. Don’t disappoint your guests by doing something basic or even worse ordering out – go full out and make it a grand dinner, a full five-course meal. Make it easier on yourself by planning out what you’re going to serve and lay out what needs to be cooked so you can just pop it in the oven and call it a day! On the other hand, if you’re attending a holiday party, don’t come empty-handed. Be prepared to bring something to show some gratitude.
With only a few day left until Christmas, not all of us have time to run errands and buy last minute gifts for your loved ones. Not to worry, we got you covered. Simply make the list and we will check it twice.
If you’re going to be inviting guests to your home, you don’t want them to be doing their best impression of a mountain goat scaling your driveway right? Nah. So prevent a slippery slope by shovelling your driveway and if you need help with the ice you can grab some road salt from a local store. Grab that winter coat, those sturdy boots, some gloves and hat and say no to snow!
There’s nothing worse than a messy house, and judgmental in-laws on their way over you’re risking being the fodder for family gossip if you don’t get that house together in time. If you don’t want to deal with the mess or the criticism, we have someone who can help sweep away your problems.
Having the kids at christmas is such a joyous time. But what if you need to attend your work holiday party? Or an extravagant New Year’s Eve ball? Well, we have a ton of first-aid trained babysitters on deck waiting to help you out during the holiday season. Whether it’s a last minute party or a highly-anticipated function, Adam is here to help
Can’t cut straight? Hate double-sided tape? The presentation of a gift makes all in the different on Christmas morning. The good part is, you don’t have to do it yourself, we got you covered. No gift is too big or too small for our Helpers. I don’t know about you but my friends KNOW which gifts I’ve given by the horrible wrapping job I do; so if you want to disguise your gift or you’re doing secret-Santa having someone else do your wrapping is a great life-hack.
Lesson, don’t dwell on what you can’t do, but rather who can help you.
